The types of fish around Lake Iliamna area are salmon (Red, Pink, Silver, King, and Dog),
rainbow trout, dollies, northern pike, burbot, white fish, lake trout, fresh water
herring, smelts, bull heads, stickle backs, fresh water muscles, fresh water snails,
and grayling.
There are different types of bait to use. One type is using sockeye salmon eggs
(old and smelly) to catch trout, bull heads, or dollies.
Do not eat stickle backs.
